DR TRUDY HINDS, BVSc

Veterinarian

DSC05155-300x225.jpg

Dr Trudy Hinds graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons I) from the University of Queensland in 1996.  She joined Dr Gordon at Rochedale Vet Surgery in 1998 and enjoyed many great years with the great team at Rochedale Vet until 2006 when an opportunity for practice ownership changed her direction.  Seven short years later, another change of direction in the form of one gorgeous son followed by another saw her enjoying a completely different career as a Mum instead.

Dr Trudy started working back with us mid-2015 doing every second Saturday morning and has really enjoyed seeing so many familiar clients’ faces, and yes, even after almost ten years away, some familiar pets as well!  She now works every full day Saturday and every second Sunday and may be seen filling in during the week too as needed.

There is almost no aspect of veterinary practice that Dr Trudy does not enjoy or has not done some further studies in – dentistry, reproduction, paediatrics, dermatology, radiography, feline and canine internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, behaviour, practice management and pocket pet care – she loves it all!  Dr Trudy has shared her home with pet budgies, guinea pigs, rats, very special dogs and a very special cat over the years.  Dr Trudys’ husband who has been with her since first year Uni, shares her with her tropical fish and pet chickens but there are bound to be more new additions as the boys get older!
